Palazzo Ricciarelli Sbarba was opened in July 2011, to host the presentation of the book “Casa Ricciarelli, unpublished history of a noble residence” by Denise Ulivieri, cared by the association  Friends of the Museums of Volterra.

Since 2012, Palazzo Ricciarelli del Sbarba opens its doors to cultural events such as concerts, book presentations, painting exhibitions, also in collaboration with the Municipality of Volterra, the Tourist Consortium and other local associations.

The noble floor of Palazzo Ricciarelli Dello Sbarba is rentable for events such as:
Weddings, gala dinners, banquets, ceremonies, receptions, conferences, exhibitions, music concerts, book presentations, theatrical performances,  meetings, photographic sets

2020: February 9. HISTOIRE DU TANGO Gardel, Villoldo, Cardoso, Montes: Tangos for flute and guitar. Anna Ulivieri flute, Stefano Quaglieri guitar, Elena Franconi narration. In collaboration with “Chi vuol esser lieto sia” and “Vivi teatro” associations.

 

2019: September 14. “Red Night”. BICROMA Duo piano and voice, Lisa Corda and Gaia Schirò, Music Academy Volterra.

 

2019: October 12. VOLTERRA TANGO. Urquiza Tango Argentino in Berlin-PrenzlauerBerg presents: Introduction to Tango and Dance Night.

2019: March 3 “Chi vuol esser lieto sia…” A Cappella Concert, “Cantiere” from Pisa: The program includes music by A.Banchieri, O. Vecchi, L. de’ Medici, C. Monteverdi.

 

2019: February 3 – “Music Games”, four handed piano concert, by “Le Muse”, Francesca Rizzo and Marta Montagnani musics from Schumann, Faurè, Bizet, Ravel. Shadow Theatre by Michela Marinai.

 

2018: October 7 –Cultural Month “DUO” viola and voice music performed by Alejandro Kievsky and Claudia Zimmermann.

 

2018: September 8 “Red Night“. Lorenzo Boddi classic guitar, Music Academy Volterra.

 

 

2018: 15th April 15, teatral visit with taste, arts, theatre, food and wine.

 

2017: September 9 – “Red Night“, guitar music performed by Daniela Bruschi.

2017: May 20 – afternoon introducing Palazzo Ricciarelli Dello Sbarba,  Renaissance music for singing and viola performed by “Duo”.

2016: 9th September – RED NIGHT music by “ShaSha Duo” Michele Cappelletti guitar, Andrea Checcacci double-bass.

2015: September 12 – Red night with “Officina Montag” music and words. By Prof. Alessandro Bertini and Fabrizio Parrini, with Carducci’s Liceum students. Reading of extracted from the performances of the creative reading and writing lab students: Cyrano’s rebellion; Antigoni; Spoon River Marathon.

2014: 31st October – “Truffles and Ricciarelli” in Volterra Gusto. Meet at the Villa, Wine and Cheese Tasting with live music, performance reserved for small groups. Event in collaboration with Volterra  Tartufai Association, Filera Corta di Volterra, Volterra Municipality, Volterra Tourist Consortium, Knights Association of Pisa.

2014: September 13 – Red Night “WORDS AND COLORS” meeting with the writer Emilia Bigiani, music with Sara Lottini, Carlo Paoletti, Leonardo Barbafiera. Extraordinary opening of the halls with free entrance.

2014: July 5 – Waiting for the White Night. Meeting with the writer Emilia Bigiani, upon invitation. Classical music pieces for flute. White Night Extraordinary opening of the halls with free entrance.

2013: September 14 – Red Night “Acoustic Swing” with Aldo Martolini on guitar and Leonardo Barbafiera with sax, extraordinary opening of the halls with free entrance.

2013: August 9 – “Classic Volterra, art and music in the streets“, edited by John Wreg, classical pieces for three flutes and contemporary dance performances.Extraordinary opening of the halls with free entrance.
